Works well for

  • Everyday agreements, forms and authorizations
  • Adding your signature and date to any page
  • Documents you don't want to upload

Not the right tool for

  • Proving the document wasn't changed after signing
  • Fillable PDF form fields (they're kept, not filled)

How to sign

  1. Drop your PDF. Every page appears below the signature box.
  2. Create your signature: draw it with your mouse or finger, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature on paper.
  3. Scroll to the page you need and click Place signature. Drag it into position and resize it from the corner. Add the date the same way.
  4. Click Download signed PDF.

What kind of signature is this?

This adds a visual signature — the same as printing a document, signing it by hand and scanning it back. It's accepted for many everyday agreements, forms and internal documents. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, which cryptographically proves who signed and that nothing changed afterwards. When a document legally requires that kind of signature, use a qualified digital signature service.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature added this way legally valid?

It depends on the document and the country. Visual signatures are widely accepted for everyday agreements; contracts that require a qualified electronic signature need a certified service.

Can I sign on several pages?

Yes. Place as many signatures and dates as you need, on any page.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes — draw with your finger. On small screens, typing your name is often neater.
