How it counts
By default the count excludes the end date, the way you'd count nights in a hotel or days until a deadline. Tick "include the end date" to count both days, which is how you'd count days of a trip or an event.
The calendar breakdown handles months of different lengths and leap years, so from Jan 31 to Mar 1 is 1 month and 1 day.
