How to Extract Pages From a PDF (or Split It Into Single Pages)
You need to send pages 4–6 of a 40-page contract, or a portal wants each page uploaded separately. Splitting a PDF is quick, and you don't have to hand the document to an online service to do it.
Option 1: extract the pages you need
- Open Split PDF and drop the file.
- Choose Extract pages.
- Type the pages to keep and download the new PDF.
The page list understands commas and ranges:
4-6→ pages 4, 5 and 61, 3, 9→ just those three8-→ page 8 to the end1-2, 10-→ the first two pages plus everything from page 10
Option 2: one file per page
Choose One file per page and you'll get a ZIP with every page as a separate PDF, numbered in order. Windows and macOS open ZIPs with a double-click; most phone file apps do too.
Reordering pages
Extracted pages keep their original order. To rearrange, split into single pages and recombine them in the order you want with Merge PDF.
Quality and privacy
Pages are copied as they are — not re-rendered — so text stays selectable and nothing loses quality. The PDF is read by your browser and never uploaded, which matters for bank statements, medical records and contracts. Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first.
