How it works
These aren't fonts. Unicode, the standard behind all digital text, includes alphabets of mathematical letters — bold, italic, script, double-struck and more. Because they're characters, not formatting, they survive copy and paste into apps that don't allow bold or italic, like Instagram bios or TikTok captions.
Use with care
Screen readers used by blind and low-vision people often read these characters as “mathematical bold capital A…” or skip them. Search engines and in-app search may not find them either. Use them for a decorative word or a title, never for your name, prices, contact details or links.
Accents and other alphabets
Accented letters keep their accents. Characters without a styled version — like Japanese, Korean or Chinese — stay unchanged.
Frequently asked questions
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The device reading the text lacks a font with that character. Older phones and some apps miss the rarer styles.
Can I use it in my name on social media?
You can, but people may not find you in search and screen readers may read it badly. A decorated tagline is safer than a decorated name.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Everything is converted in your browser.
